Doula Favorites
Purchasing items for you and your new baby is a fun part of nesting. So here is a little list of favorites! I tell my doula clients that there is no need to purchase anything but the basics before baby arrives. If you’re overwhelmed with choices, wait and see if your unique baby will actually need any of the popular “extras”. Your postpartum doula should see you and your baby, and make informed recommendations. Many parents have success finding used items for lower prices. Utilize “buy nothing” facebook groups, Golden Gate Mothers group, second-hand baby stores (Chloe’s Closet in SF), or borrowing items from friends.
